Well the waydog found his way back home
And we all know why he's here
To curse the town and break the bounds
'Til the future is more clear
Than the murky glass that holds the sand
And causes only fear
When the time is out and the moon is dark
You can tell the end is near

And your mind reveals the reasons why

You can't get out, it's been too long
The waydog's grip remains
This still will pass in little time
Although it might seem strange

Well the years go by and still you try
But your problems can't be solved
The days and nights still go alright
But they make you feel small
When freedom is the only thing
That'll get you off at all
So you break the chains and through the reins
That are welded to us all

After some time you look around
And you notice something new
There's no more trouble inside your head
But there's one thing left to do
The waydog is the closest thing
To a different point of a view
So if you decide to come again
You'll meet the waydog too
